Wednesday's Work!

Just a couple pics of Brian continuing to sheet the bonus room

Keeping Busy!

We had to take a break from working on that darn roof

and catch up on some other areas of the house;

Monday we framed up the exterior walls of the bonus room

with the help of Tom and Mariane.

Tuesday night I had to go to work but when I left the crew

(Brandon, Tom, Mariane, and Brian) were

putting up sheeting on the bonus room.

Can't wait to see their progress!!

 thought i'd show off our progress from the weekend!!

 And who can resist taking a break when these cute girls are visiting?!

Yet another productive weekend!

Saturday and Sunday proved to be WAY more productive than

we could have hoped for......again some of our strong supporters showed

up in full gear and helped us with the dreaded roof.

Couldn't have done it without you guys, THANKS!

Derek, Dad and Brian started sheeting the roof

while Tom mixed up some concrete so Tom Oak

could lay the block for our porch...

 They have a system worked out for their way of doing things,

I think they've worked together before ;)

And back for another day of roof work is Mr. Sam Gramling,

I think he was hoping we'd be on to something else by now!

A view from afar of what the house is looking like these days...

Dave, Brian and Tom worked hard this morning to set the rafters over

the bonus room/dormer that have peaks on them.

Beans didn't want to miss out on all the fun!!

 You can see the windows in the great room better now that the roof is sheeted!

There will be a fireplace in the center where the sheeting is.
