What a great YEAR!

Mom's realized she's forgotten a few photos along the way;
too many cameras to keep track of now that those
"smart" phones can do it all :)

My VERY FIRST mule ride!!
I can see why dad likes festus,
he's a smooth ride!

Olivia and I continue to occupy each other,
today I was teaching her how to eat rocks....
for some reason I was the only one who
found it funny!

oh, and after watching Grandpa Dave ride Festus
I realized I was missing something
VERY IMPORTANT
to learn about riding,
you can multi-task....
if it's a good mule you don't need to hang on!
but the beer can't be trusted, 2 hands ;)

This is me continuing to work on
looking intimidating to qualify for
"ring security"
from being ring-bearer at
 Aunt Coley's wedding!

oh, and I can't believe I even let
mom put this picture on here :(
We spent a late evening at my uncle Brandon's
and they decided I should borrow a pair
of Olivia's PJ's for bedtime in case I fell
asleep on the car ride home...
then I'd be all ready for bed.
Well THIS is what they woke up too--
NOT FUNNY.

Once upon a time it was a nice day in early May,
nice enough to be in swimsuits and water, outside even!!
Well here's what my crazy  Kuehn cousins decided
to do to pass the time....
mom wasn't about to let me join in the fun just yet :(

But I DO love being outside;
I particularly love playing with my tools
on the front porch and swinging too:0

The last time you seen me walking I
was just learning; well let's say I'm a
FAST LEARNER and
I've TAKEN OFF!

It was sad to say goodbye to my
great-grandpa Don Gibbs,
I hear amazing stories of this grand man
and he will be missed.

Wait, I was supposed to smile not scream!

Oh, and I had my very FIRST birthday party:)
We celebrated a little early this year
because it's such a busy month
and my Auntie Nicole was home from TX,
she even picked out this really cool cake for me!

The best part of the party was playing with
all my cousins!

so lucky to have such wonderful family
celebrate with me!

At least someone's excited for cake....mom!
I just want to play with the fire,
let me at it.....I know how to put this out ;0

you want me to do WHAT with THIS?
Not a huge cake fan.....YET
but luckily mom is-- no waste here!

Grandpa Tom was nervous of all the
mule riding I've been doing so he thought
he better intervene now to get me
started on the harley so I can go
out on adventures with him too, SOON!
But this ride takes both hands to run!

mommy's trying to wean me from
breast-feeding so she gave me this silly
sippy cup, my favorite thing to do with
it is throw it on the floor!

I'm always up for cleaning!

Well again,
I'm a FAST learner!

what do you think Grandpa Beer,
I got the look down!

now.....to get it to go faster
I just push down right?!

Even got a rebel tattoo!!
Staying true to my heart,
it says "mom" :)

I guess mom would say I have an infatuation
with my silky blankies...
I really like to snuggle with it.
If it's laying on the floor I crash right into it and cozy up!
EVERY morning when I wake up I stand in the
corner of my crib and cry until someone gets me,
except mom thinks I'm crying because I'm trying
to snuggle my blankie but I'm standing on it
so I can't quite get it up to my cheek!
It's definitely the next best thing to mom!

Quite the exciting month of MAY I'd say!

Well, I've been up to no good as usual but I'll tell
you MY side of what I'm now capable of :)

I still LOVE opening the cupboards and
especially sneak the chance to get into
the ones I'm not supposed to when
mom doesn't put the child locks on fast enough!!
I love to take the dishes out and "GENTLY"
throw them on the floor, they must be
durable because I haven't broken any yet!

I've mastered the stairs--
 I go up and down
and up and down again!
I rarely fall now.....
mom's just thankful I haven't
figured out where the
 basement stairs are yet!

I love to help mommy clean, I'm good
at laundry (especially making it and taking all
the clean clothes out of the drawers:)
and I really love this vacuum cleaner!

I'm a regular ole cowboy now;
I can even ride this guy with no hands
and no feet! giddy up!

I once AGAIN got to take a ride in an airplane....
here's dad and I preparing at the airport.
Off to Auntie Nicole's wedding in Houston, TX

Take off went good but as for the rest
of the 3 hours flight....
well, mom says it was the longest flight EVER!
I'm awful mobile these days and being cramped
in those little seats just wasn't quite my style...
so mommy sat between the seats on the floor
while I played and screamed and shouted :(

I didn't mind the water in TX but the hat I
could have done without ;)

daddy helped  cousin Emme climb to the top
of this REALLY big waterslide
and encouraged her to go down all by herself!!
YEAH EMME!

I'm Really enjoying the hat as you can see
by the expression on my face!

WEDDING DAY!

The bride is beautiful and all but these
flowers are sure fun to tear apart.

oh, and even better--
unattended beer!
Here's my chance!
It must be mine, it's on my stroller!

haha dad, got your glasses!

my dad is the best, he's always playing
games and keeping me entertained!

I found out I really like dancing!
I don't quite have moves like grandpa Beer yet
but SOMEday I will!

I started to get danced out at about 10:30,
I'd say I was a trooper!
and then I passed out!
Those beer's on my stroller must have got to me ;)

Now if only the flight TO Texas went
as smooth as the flight home....

back home I dig playing trucks with daddy...
(oh, and still thoroughly enjoy being naked!)

Here I am at 11 months of age

such a character I am ;)

I have two bottom and two front teeth, see!!

this is my GREAT grandma Marti!

Oh, and these days dad not only
has mommy back up on a roof but he's
trying to recruit me already too,
he's hoping he can teach me to be a better
forklift operator than mommy...
I think I've got it covered!

Lately since the weather decided to
finally come around I realize I LOVE to
be OUTSIDE!
In particular
I love to swing and play with
my tools on the front porch

see, now I wake up in the mornings and
the first thing on my mind is....
OUTSIDE!

Oh, and probably the most exciting thing
I've learned this month is WALKING!
Now I know I've been taking "baby" steps
for a month or two now but I've upgraded...
no more BABY steps for me,
all in a day I decided I'm a BIG BOY so
I better live up to the standards....
I make it the length of the house walking by myself,
I can even hold onto things and walk already!
So stay tuned, because I'm sure soon enough
I'll be RUNNING! oh no!
