Another Productive Weekend!

The weekend starts out with Thursday and Friday's project of
framing the garage walls, setting them and
then sheeting the first row....
sorry about the quality of the first few photos,
 I only had my phone
available while the cameras were charging!

My brother-in-law Mike Blaschko made his
debut this weekend helping us, he hopes
to learn a lot so he can be a carpenter someday
in case his day job doesn't work out!!

And my dad Dave got roped into spending the weekend with us,
he's got some pretty natural talent and cat like reflexes!

Time out!
We had to take a break because the first load of
rafters for the roof arrived!

Ok boys--back to work! Need to finish the garage so
we have a place to set these rafters this weekend!

Now here's a trooper--well actually a sheriff's deputy
but in our eyes a trooper because he worked all weekend
and found time to help us in the hours between....
Thanks Jim Whiteis!!!

This is dad's carpenter shirt, it says
I DO MY BIT...
He lived up to it; he did WAY more than just a bit!

Tom and Mariane wanted to be part of the fun too!!

Next project=roof!! Stay tuned for these photos
and some photos of Sam Gramling who helped us
frame garage walls on Thursday evening;
sorry too many cameras, not enough memory space!
