Let it POUR!

Thursday was again a day of preparing for concrete; Brian can now add electrician
to his list of trades! He dug and ran power lines from the post to the house!

Our in floor heat system was laid also on
Thursday in the garage and basement.
And we had another great little helper Thursday evening: Emme Beer :)

Emme and grandma are always cleaning up after us!

Friday morning 7am sharp the crew was pouring concrete in the basement:
BIG THANKS to
Tom Oak, Tom Beer, Andy Schmidt, Billy and Mike Genelin,
Brandon Beer, Dave Kuehn, and Brian

While the boys were finishing the basement Dad and I laid
and tied rebar in the garage!
And due to the torential wind storm friday we were unable to carry on
with sheeting the roof so we built some posts for the front porch!

The Whiteis Family came to play and help too!

2 new trades Amanda can now add to her LONG list of talents:
placing tyvek and tying rebar!

Saturday Dad, Tom, Derek and Brian worked on setting the rest of the rafters
over the front porch; unfortunately due to the potential threatening weather we
were unable to pour concrete in the garage Saturday morning.
Needless to say there was still work to be done!

And yet another helping hand from Parker and Denise Kamm :)

As I headed off to work to earn some $$ to fund our project,
the crew was finishing up and about to enjoy a
delicious meal prepared by my sister Denise....
THANKS A MILLION to all our helping hands!
